Philips’ New Air Purifiers Help Families Clean Up The Air in Their Homes

With its new range of smart air purifiers, Royal Philips empowers families to manage indoor air quality in their homes.

"Knowing that your air at home can have two to five times more allergens and pollutants than outdoor air, we came out with the Philips Air Purifiers to encourage a better home environment with cleaner air," said Eline de Graaf, Marketing Director for Philips New Categories.

The Philips Air Purifiers are equipped with AeraSense technology, which automatically monitors, reacts and purifies indoor air, capturing 99.97% of particles that pass through the filter. Philips’ AeraSense technology is highly effective in sensing even the slightest change in indoor air conditions. The Philips Air Purifiers support an extra-sensitive allergen mode that boosts the fan speed even when it detects small increases of allergens in the air.

The Philips Air Purifiers’ multi-layer filtration system includes 3 filters:

  • Pre-filter removes large particles
  • Active carbon filter removes odors and gases
  • True HEPA filter removes mold spores, pollen and pet dander

The Philips Air Purifiers have numerical displays that show air quality data in real-time. With the help of the connected app, users are able to remotely monitor air quality in the rooms and control the device. The app also provides allergen management advice and allows users to track trends over time.
