Our homes represent a safe bastion from the world. It's the one haven we can always count on. On the inside of our homes, we aim for the same as for our bodies. Health, safety and reliability. To that end, modern technology has immensely advanced to offer us the best protection against all sorts of germs and bacteria. Too much of anything is not ideal, as is using too many chemicals. The end result is more harm than good. We turn to Mother Nature and her solutions for a safe and clean home. There is no time like the present, so let's get started.
1. Alcohol
Besides wiping our memories clean, alcohol is useful for cleaning the home. To be more specific, cheap vodka does the trick. Put some in sprits, a simple, clean cloth, and you are good to go. Sprits porcelain, glass, chrome and so on. Now, you may be thinking that this will produce foul odours, but you would be wrong to think so. Vodka evaporates pretty quick, the alcohol percentage in it kills any bacteria and germs, and its smell is non-existent afterwards. What's left of it can be used to celebrate!
2. White wonders
Salt, baking soda and borax. Cheap, available and natural as it gets when it comes to house supplies. For when you have an extremely greasy pan, pour steaming hot water and add some salt to it. Then leave it out to cool a bit and the cleaning will be done in no time. Mixing salt, baking soda and borax (half a cup each) create a homemade, natural and safe way to clean those pesky white rings and stains on your glass, sink, toilet and bathtub. Or your shower and any other place that has a bit of calcium that refuses to disappear. Not only is this method completely natural, but it's also cheaper than any artificial cleaning product on the market.
3. When in doubt, call the pros
Cleaning requires time, elbow grease and money. Regardless if you opt for one hundred per cent natural or something artificial, you still need to put your back into it. When you put it all on paper, outsourcing to any professional and experienced company, like ChemDry Central North, makes a lot of sense. Not only will you have more time and energy to devote to other items, but you can also rest assured that your home is in good hands that use natural, certified and safe products. When your home shines, it will shine anew!
4. For your floors
We covered most of the surface areas, except now it's time to tackle the really big ones. Your floors can be vital when you wish to reduce any harmful effects. Using some harmful substance on such vast surfaces can produce all kinds of health hazards. But, using lukewarm water, ten or so drops from essential pine oil and some catile soup, you can create your organic ally to properly clean them. They will not only smell like the forest, but you will also be safe from any harmful evaporations.
5. See through glass
You know that scene in the movies when someone hits a glass tile and doesn't notice it because it's that clean? Well, your windows can also be like that for a fraction of the cost. Vinegar and water, that's it, that's all there is to it. Fifty/fifty is the correct measurement and if you find the scent, not to your liking, squeeze one lemon and you are done. Your windows will be brand new and see thru to that end that you too will forget where they are.
Starting any new journey may seem daunting when you are starting. Bit by bit, step by step and it gets easier. Any action you take is better than none. As you gradually clean your home in this new manner, you will be able to see the fruits of your labour, manifest before your very eyes. We wish you all the best in your future endeavour.
