It is also common knowledge that once a person has diabetes, there is a big chance that another chronic disorder might stem from the disease. If that does not scare you, imagine the 1.6 million deaths worldwide this disease has caused. 

A healthy diet, regular physical activity, maintaining healthy body weight, and avoiding tobacco use, prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. The best way to prevent diabetes, however, is to avoid overconsumption of sweet foods. However, if you have diabetes, you can hire a caregiver to assist you with your needs.
